I never really asked myself the Question, “Who or What is Mother Nature?“, not until I met her myself during my 10-day Ayahuasca Retreat in Riberalta, Bolivia.
On that very night, my whole believe system got turned around and I started asking myself that question.
You hear those words almost everywhere, “Mother Nature“, or “Pacha Mama“ in South America.
And “she“ is always known as “the one which provides life and possibilities for everything“.
People everywhere on this planet, mostly indigenous people, say things like these:
“Without her there is no us“, “without her you will not survive“, “we need to respect Mother Nature and live in balance with her“, “she is the one who creates life“, “We need to live with Mother Nature, not from her“, and so on.
My Point is, there is something more to “Mother Nature“, then just those words.
She is a being, as a matter of fact a spiritual being or consciousness like a Soul.
You can imagine it a bit like that:
Her Home, or better her “Body“ is this Planet we live on.
Just like every other Planet is the “Body“ of a Soul with higher spiritual Status then our own.
A higher life-form then ours, most people might relate to a God-like status.
And that is actually quite accurate, maybe more accurate than most of us know.
When people pray, who do they prey to?
Mostly to some kind of God or several Gods.
In my Opinion we should pray to Mother Nature, because she is the one which provides everything for any living being on this Planet, not necessarily only for us humans though.
God himself/itself is too busy to watch over all living things in the universe at the same time, that is where Mother nature comes in.
Mother Nature “only” watches over the living beings on this planet.
She is responsible for life on this planet, not necessarily only for us humans.

So if we humans use up our resources for example, which Mother Nature took a very long time to provide for us, then Mother Nature would not be able to support us with the necessary needs we have as humans anymore and all humanity would die.
Not because Mother Nature didn’t do her job right, only because we did not consider the consequences of our actions.
Life on this Planet would still move on… only without us!
And it would be our own fault.
Mother Nature is the closest thing to a God I can think of!
If Mother Nature is sick, we will be sick soon after. If Mother Nature dies, we die. We should be fighting to protect Mother nature with everything we have!
But instead we take everything for granted, whatever it is.
Oil, Gas, Trees, whatever we need we take, doesn’t matter the cost. Without thinking about the consequences and don’t get me wrong, there will be consequences for what we do to Mother Nature.
But still Mother Nature loves us and provides for us, as long as she can, even if she dies in the process.
She watches every step you take, follows you and me through our lives and always knows how we feel.
She accepts how you live your life and doesn’t judge you for what you do.
The only thing she wants in return is this:
Always remember and never forget, that everything you have and own (doesn’t matter how much or how little), everything you can see, feel, touch, and smell is all provided by Mother Nature.
It doesn’t matter how rich or poor, healthy or unhealthy you are, and in which state you are in your life, Mother Nature is always with you and supports you all the time.
In my Opinion that is pretty damn close to what I imagine a God would be like.
On my Ayahuasca Retreat, I had the chance to meet Mother Nature herself and I had the most mind-blowing conversation you can imagine.
I will translate the whole experience from my Retreat-Diary and publish it here on this blog soon as well.
What do you think about Mother Nature? Do you agree or disagree with my point of view?
Please let me know in the comment section below. I am very interested to hear about your thoughts and opinions.
Thank you very much for reading!!
Peace.
