Does God exist?

I asked myself that question and “what happens after we die?” over and over again. For many years. And I like to have my own experiences in order to form my own opinions, not based on someone else’s information or experience.

I got raised as a Catholic Christian and my Grandparents very strongly believe in God “The Creator“.

So from very early on, I was taught to believe in God. During my Childhood I didn’t really have a choice but to believe in God. There was no Question about it.

But the more years past and the more time I spend on the Road, traveling through this beautiful world, the more I got to experience the different cultures and believes all around our planet.

And the more open minded I became.

Since I was able to start asking questions and the more research I did, the less I really believed in God.

Even though I believe in Angels since a very early age, I could never imagine “One BIG Boss“ sitting behind a table and deciding, if you are allowed to enter heaven or if you will be send straight to hell.

It never really made sense to me.

So I listened to what people had to say about their believes and traditions.

And after many many months Backpacking in Asia and diving into the culture there, I found Buddhism the most interesting culture I got to experience first-hand.

The construct of the Religion made sense to me, everybody was smiling even though they barely had enough to eat and drink, and they help each other out in times of need without expecting anything in return, and so on.

On my Backpacking Trip through Jamaica, Central- and South America I became quite a spiritual person and after I got to experience a 10-Day Ayahuasca Retreat in Bolivia, my whole believe-system got turned upside down.

I am going to explain how I got to this opinion in a different post, but let me tell you “here”, what I believe God is.

Basically I think what God is, is a ball of light, an infinite source of energy, the source of which everything in this Universe has its origin from.

Living things on our Planet are all connected to the life giving source of energy “Mother Nature“, Mother Nature on the other hand has her energy from our Galaxy, just like Moon, Mars, our Sun and all the other planets in our Galaxy.

And all the different Galaxies are connected to our Universe.

Then who knows for sure, if there are not different parallel Universes out there, right next to ours?

And at the very end, there will be that one point, that one source, where all the different energies come together.

That one source of energy is what we call God.

You can imagine it a bit like that:

Imagine God (the infinite source of energy) as a person standing up.

Only a bright white silhouette of a person. I bet that is not too hard! 😀

Now, you will imagine the left hand of that silhouette and from the smallest finger on that hand streams out one line of energy, which splits up in many smaller streams of energy and those supply all worlds and universes with energy.

Matter is the product of what Energy creates.”

And the rest is history. 😉

All kinds of religions and cultures talk about a, or more god/s and every one of them have their own Story’s and Legends to tell.

Every single believe or religion talks about the very same thing at the end, they mostly just have a very poor capability to understand each other.

I think, if we would be willing to accept other “truths“ or Legends and be able to sit together and combine the similarities of all believes and religions as one, we would be amazed by what we would discover.

What do you think? Do you believe in some kind of a God? Do you think God exists?

I am glad, if you share your opinion in the comment section below.

Thanks for reading one of my posts!

Peace,

Ralph.
