408th Anniversary in San Jose and Second Ayahuasca Ceremony
30.04.2024
This morning we again had a very relaxed morning with breakfast and lunch.
Before lunch, we took a little walk in the jungle and had Niño show us a few growing Ayahuasca vines.
We listened to a few things and facts about them.
It was a nice little walk, even though it was very exhausting for my dad.
His circulation got a bit weak, and because of that, he also fell down a few times.
I helped him as best I could, but he still scraped his knee despite everything.
After we had recovered from this exertion, there was already something for lunch.
We weren’t quite finished eating when we were informed that the taxi was already there, which would drive us to the anniversary celebration of a very old village.
The village had its 408th anniversary.
The name of the village was “San José” and is located deep in the jungle, which is really difficult to access.
If it rains for only one or two days, the road to the village is no longer passable.
It was a very local event that was mainly intended for locals, only for the reason that normally almost no outsider gets lost there.
No one there expected to see a few gringos like us.
We noticed that quite quickly.
We only had the opportunity because Niño and his brothers took us there.
That became clear at the latest when the village head personally introduced himself to each of us with a handshake and warmly welcomed us.
We were also introduced and welcomed once more by him with a microphone and loudspeaker in front of the entire village.
Which was a bit too much for my taste, but which also only showed how special and so far unique this was for the whole village.
The drive there took about 1.5 hours, and when we arrived there, we had to wait a while since we were simply a bit too early.
For comparison: Rurrenabaque itself is just 163 years old, but grew faster due to accessibility and geographical location.
You can imagine the festivities a little bit like a small local carnival, with three or four different groups that danced through the main street and honored their saints of the church.
With a fanfare!
It was something very beautiful and special for us to be able to be part of such a celebration.
In the end, we had to get on the way back to the retreat quite quickly since we also had our second Ayahuasca ceremony in the evening.
When we were back, I immediately jumped into the shower to clean myself for the upcoming ceremony and be well prepared.
Shortly before 09:00 PM, we gathered in the Maloka, made ourselves comfortable, and went through the rules once more before we received the Ayahuasca.
After we had made ourselves comfortable again, it didn’t take long until I felt the first effects.
But I have to say in advance that this night was even less intense than in the first ceremony.
Everything I will describe in the coming sentences was only very weak and barely noticeable.
But it’s enough to write down a few thoughts.
Shortly before the ceremony in the Maloka, I had already noticed a few spiders on the ceiling, which showed themselves to me during the ceremony again and again in some form or were felt.
Either I had the feeling as if they were crawling over me, biting me, or having large shadow formations.
It looked like large dancing spiders.
But everything barely noticeable or barely visible.
You already needed quite a lot of imagination for that.
I had very many thoughts in my head but couldn’t think any through before a new one emerged.
Again and again, I perceived my dad, who didn’t have quite as intense cramps as on the first night but definitely still had quite a bit of work to do.
Niño also engaged with him very intensively and successfully again, which also made me very happy.
For example, I could observe how Niño pulled a “spirit” out of my dad and talked and discussed with him in the middle of the Maloka until he drove him out of the Maloka.
I didn’t see the “spirit” itself, but it was clearly recognizable that Niño talked and discussed with one or more “spirits.”
At one of these moments, I had the feeling that the cancer from my dad was now completely or almost completely banished from my dad.
My dad himself said that his work is not quite finished yet, but that he is on the right path and will soon have managed to banish the cancer from his body.
I myself was a bit jumpy in this night or ceremony and was quite startled one or two times.
For example, when Niño kept stomping firmly on the ground.
The songs and melodies on this night were also particularly beautiful.
Admittedly, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed not to have felt or perceived Ayahuasca quite as intensely in this ceremony.
In the first ceremony, the Ayahuasca was ready, but I wasn’t, and now, in the second ceremony, I was ready, but the Ayahuasca wasn’t.
I also had quite a few slightly negative thoughts about myself and about life.
For example, that I should perhaps better turn away emotionally from the world, become a bit harder, and don’t have to accept everything that is tried to be imposed on me or rather by society.
You don’t have to accept and tolerate everything that they try to make you believe.
Life is hard and nothing for the weak.
People are very hard to understand.
They have forgotten the laws of nature and are turning more and more away from it, which will be a big mistake if it continues like this.
Since no one protects me or can protect me, I have to take care of it myself and show strength or take leadership in my life.
And become a strong pillar for others.
I have the strength to take on the weaknesses, fears, and worries of others and still walk straight through life.
Perhaps that was also what Ayahuasca wanted to convey to me with her absence tonight.
Since I had very much hoped that Ayahuasca and Mother Nature would help me again, like last time, to find my way in life.
I can now navigate through life very well myself and have seen through life and our society quite well.
That is my thought process that took place on this night.
I’m excited about what the next days and ceremonies will bring.
Niño’s dog also drove away many spirits on this night and drove them out of the Maloka and from the property.
Incredible what a fine sense Montesuma (Niño’s dog) has.

Today our day was again super relaxed.
We spent the whole day at the retreat center.
I walked around a bit and tried to take a few nice photos.
The food was also very tasty again.
In the evening, we all gathered again in the Maloka at 08:00 PM to talk about what we experienced the night before.
The interesting thing about it was what Niño told about my father or his cancer.
Last night, Niño discussed a lot with the spirit of the cancer and then reported to us that the cancer is a very intelligent life form.
It doesn’t want to just disappear from my dad like that since it would mean the death of the cancer, and it also has the urge to survive, as we all have it.
Accordingly, it would have left my father’s body if it could have jumped to another host or body to secure its survival.
But Niño didn’t allow that and forbade him to jump to another body.
Niño made it clear to him that he may not jump to him, his brothers, the other participants, and also not to his dog.
Niño also said that there is still some work coming for him, my dad, and the Ayahuasca to completely defeat the cancer and release or delete it from his body.
You have to make sure that you completely destroy the cancer so that it doesn’t jump to others.
That was very interesting to hear because I had mentioned that I had witnessed a loud discussion between Niño and a spirit that he pulled out of my dad.
That must have been that moment.
Many who read this here will never be able to imagine it if they don’t experience it themselves on their own body and want to have this experience.
And that’s okay too.
Ayahuasca is not necessarily for everyone, and everyone should decide for themselves to try this type of treatment or not.
Others, on the other hand, place very great hope and great trust in Ayahuasca and go into her world themselves to get an idea of Ayahuasca.
After our round was then closed, we went to bed quite promptly.
